Katlyin Fae (Born 13, May 1992), is the daughter of Haley Fae (Nee Grey) and Theo Fae, she is the older sister to Mellani Strike (Nee Fae). She is a fashion designer in Starling City and for a short time a waitress at a techno club. She is currently in the Starling City Shining Designer College. After the accident with the particular accelerator, she became a Meta-Human, with the ability to produce bolts of energy. When her sister who was working at A.R.G.U.S, was attacked by Captain Boomerang. She decided to become a vigilante and a hero known as the Black Cat.
Appearance
Katylin is a biracial Chinese American woman with dark brown hair, brown eyes, and Olive-toned Skin. She is 5'6" and is about 125 pounds. And has an Hour-Glass frame; Waist-Hips: 25-35 inches (64-89 cm). She usually wears a simple blue shirt with tight jeans and a leather jacket she got from her granddad.
Personality
She is a bold and courageous girl who doesn't let anyone push her or her friends down. She often uses dry humor and sarcasm to distract and distance herself from situations and people that make her uncomfortable, or simply to lighten the mood during particularly stressful situations. Still, regardless of how protective she is of herself, Katlyin often sees the best in other people.
As Black Cat, she has shown capability of holding her own in most situations. She is shown to be very good at improvising in stressful situations. She has a more deeper and darker version of the world as Black Cat. It takes a large amount of effort to be trusted either by Katylin or by Black Cat.
Biography
When she was young she studied self defense and wanted to make the world a better place. Her mother wanted her to do something that wouldn't cost her, her life. Instead Katylin was taught sewing and design her mom. When she turned 21 she left her home and went to Starling City, where she opened her own clothing shop and started attending, Starling City Shining Designer College.
While in Central City for a fashion show, which she won. The particle accelerator exploded causing energy black matter changing the her DNA. She woke up in a hospital in Starling City three days after the explosion. She returned to work soon after she was discharged, while closing her shop she was robbed but managed to fight of the attacker with her energy powers blasting him away.
She then realized her dream of making the world a better place so she decided to become the Black Cat.

Energy Manipulation: Katylin can create, shape and manipulate energy, one of the basic quantitative properties describing a physical system or object's state. She can transform or converted among a number of forms that may each manifest and be measurable in differing ways. The law of conservation of energy states that the (total) energy of a system can increase or decrease only by transferring it in or out of the system, thus the total energy of a system can be calculated by simple addition when it is composed of multiple non-interacting parts or has multiple distinct forms of energy.
- Energy Blasts: Katylin can release energy to attacks of various intensities, either projected, used as a part of melee attacks, etc., from huge rays of pure energy that can knock over or even obliterate dozens of targets, or slightly singe them.
- Energy Shields: Katylin is able to create a shield, wall, or a field to protect herself others. Her Force-fields are not impenetrable and can usually be removed by energy drain or extreme force.
Abilities
- Expert Hand-to-Hand Combatant: From her time training under Green Arrow and Wild Cat respectively, Katylin has become a very good fighter. A fast learner, Katylin was able to effectively use defensive maneuvers taught to her during the beginning of her training.
- Master at pattern recognition and analysis - in other words, she picks up on patterns that others do not notice. That is what made her so good at fashion designing and how to track down criminals.
